It is no secret that almost every member of my family is a dog lover. It should be no suprise to see that my boys love dogs as well. We had a great time with all my family in Jackson this weekend, but the boys liked the dog the best.
I am glad that the high gas prices have not slowed "Big Mama's Ice Cream Truck" down. She is still making rounds around our neighborhood. We got some yummy treats from her.
Samuel hears Big Mama coming.
So does Lucas.
So many good choices...what will it be?
Samuel is rather excited. He said, "Give it to me now!"
After church today we put Lucas and Samuel down for naps like we do every Sunday. We could tell that Lucas was not going to sleep right away because we could hear him talking. He does that sometimes so we did not think much about it. We went ahead and took a nap as well. After hearing Lucas talking/playing for about an hour he finally went to sleep. I went to wake him up after he had been sleeping for an hour or so and walked in to find this:
Sweet little Lucas was playing blocks before he went to bed.
Next, I see this. Crayons that should be on the top shelf of the closet.
Next, I see this. Little Vincent van Gogh decided to color his walls!
Then I looked back over and saw this.
How can you be mad at a sweet little one sleeping so soundly????
Lucas loves playing with Clay's bike when we go over to Julie's house. We found one just like it at Walmart the other day. We got it for him and he has ridden it to death. He rode it around the block (1/2 mile) the other day. It is the best $20 we have spent in a long time.
He can't pedal yet but that doesn't stop him.
Big smile for a big boy.
Samuel likes it too.
This sweet little one learned to crawl last week and learned to pull up today. (Is it just us, or could you not die for that face?)
