I am glad that the high gas prices have not slowed "Big Mama's Ice Cream Truck" down. She is still making rounds around our neighborhood. We got some yummy treats from her.
Samuel hears Big Mama coming. 
So does Lucas.

Samuel is rather excited. He said, "Give it to me now!"

I love this post! It brings back so many memories from my childhood. I didn't know the Ice Cream man, or lady as in this case, even existed anymore. Wish I was there to enjoy an ice cream with you all!

I agree with Marmee. The post is great!!! Reminds of my earlier days waiting for the ice cream man. AND I believe I also had the same desire as Samuel - GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!!!!
